Fincham / Anness Meadows/School

Hi.
Reading the local book on Diss. I came across the picture of Fincham Meadows, later called Anness Meadows, later the school was built on this area.
Is there any local historians, or some one that can tell me where the original names for the meadows came from i.e. Anness and Fincham Meadows.
Also any one covering the name Anness, I am in search of details on a William Anness. died 1930s.
